[Intro]
[Verse 1]
I love my little house
In my little town
I love pulling you up
When you’re feeling down
I love going to movies with you by my side
Convertible nights
We’re out for a ride
[Chorus]
[full band enters, vocal harmonies]
I love livin’ in my little town
I love livin’ in my little town
I love the neighbors next door
And the folks up the street
We get hit by disasters
But we never get beat
‘Cause we’re all pulling up
Nothing’s pulling us down
I love livin’ in my little town
[Instrumental Break]
[Verse 2]
And what other town
Has a park full of dreams
With kids chasing fireflies
And porch-light scenes
[drums and bass re-enter]
And jazz concerts in backyards with folks white, black and brown
I love every square corner of my little town
[Chorus]
[vocal harmonies]
We will spread lots of kindness
When we know someone’s down
We are known to help strangers
All over town
We love pulling you up
Whether white, black or brown, why?
’Cause my town’s a treasure
Where good hearts can be found
And I love livin’ in my little town
[Outro]
I love livin’ in my little town
I love livin’ in my little town

Widows Mothers and Lovers

[intro]
Liz and Dan were sweethearts
They met in Junior High
He worshiped her, she adored him
There would be no other guy.
When they grew up they planned to be married
Planned each detail of that day
Dan wanted to serve his country first
And fate stepped in the way.
After high school he joined the Army
Soon he was shipped to Iraq
He told Liz to plan their wedding day
On the day that he’d be back.
Liz picked out her wedding gown
She found a perfect fit
Two days before Dan’s flight was booked
He took a major hit.
Chorus
And her tears drop down, they fall like rain
Only widows, mothers and lovers…….
Can understand the pain.
Liz visited Dan at Walter Reed
He didn’t know her name
This man she loved was a stranger
He’d never be the same.
She cried when they cancelled their wedding day
Her gown hangs on the rack
She sits with him every Sunday
Praying Dan will return from Iraq.
Chorus
And the tears drop down, they fall like rain
Only widows, mothers and lovers……..
Can understand the pain
And the tears drop down, they fall like rain
Only widows, mothers and lovers……..
Can understand the pain
Only widows, mothers and lovers……..
Can understand the pain

Imaginary Conversations

[female singer]
I have imaginary conversations with you
That’s where I tell you all the things, I want to say
I tell you just how much love you, just how much I care
All in an imaginary way.
And in my conversations with you
There is no hesitation in the words you say
You tell me all the things I long to hear, just how much you care
All in an imaginary way.
[female singer]
Do you think of me in the morning?
Do you think of me at night?
Do you think of me when you’re with her?
Do you long to hold me tight?
[male singer]
I think of you from dusk to dawn
I dream of you at night
I long to hold you in my arms
Then I face the morning light.
So I have…. imaginary conversations with you
[singing together]
And then the veil of hidden feelings slips away
I tell you just how much I love you, just how much I care
All in an imaginary way.
Hi everybody! I’d like to share this great song
written by somebody I know…my son – Gary Miliefsky

Rewind My Troubles

[Intro]
[strummed acoustic guitar, clean electric guitar arpeggio, pedal steel swell]
[Verse 1]
[bass and drums enter]
I found an old tape in the dashboard of my truck
A song about heartbreak, running out of luck
The DJ said spin it backwards, turn your life around
So I gave it a whirl and heard a magical sound
First came the dog running through the yard
His tail wagging, I’d never seen so hard
Watched my old Chevy roll back into the drive
Felt like for the first time I could truly be alive
[Chorus]
[overdriven electric guitars, vocal harmonies]
Play that country song backwards and slow
Get my house, get my wife, don’t you know
Bring my life back to the good old days
Living happily ever after, in reverse we’ll stay
[Verse 2]
[pedal steel melody]
My front porch swing started to sway once more
As my wife walked back through that creaky screen door
Her smile lit up like the stars in the sky
I knew we’d never again say goodbye
[Bridge]
[electric guitar solo with slide effects]
Life’s a funny thing, when you spin it round
What was lost can once again be found
Tears run dry, the pain unwinds
All in a tune, rewinds through time
[Chorus]
[full band intensity]
Play that country song backwards and slow
Get my house, get my wife, don’t you know
Bring my life back to the good old days
Living happily ever after, in reverse we’ll stay
[Outro]
[acoustic guitar strumming fades, final pedal steel note]
